Founded in 2013, Bira 91 is an Indian beer brand that started with a portfolio of premium products and recently expanded into mass-market. The brand stands out by a clear product range of essential and flavourful beers (blonde, white, light, strong, IPA) and a differentiated marketing strategy oriented towards the young white-collar population. In 2019, the company expanded the supply capacity and launched its first mass-market product.
Sofina invested in the company in 2018, alongside Sequoia Capital who has been investor since 2015.
