Headquartered in Bristol, UK, Graphcore is a chip manufacturer which built an Intelligence Processing Unit (“IPU”) for the rapidly growing artificial intelligence (“AI”) market. Sofina entered Graphcore’s capital in 2018. Other shareholders include among others Sequoia Capital and Atomico.
